Lactic acid exfoliates those dead skin cells *Active Ingredient*
Lactic Acid (an alpha hydroxy) gently exfoliates, ridding the skin of dead cells and encouraging the skin to produce more ceramides. Lactic Acid is also less likely to cause dermal irritation than any of the other alpha hydroxy acids (which is why we chose to include it!). Our Lactic Acid is made by fermenting carbohydrates.
Ground olive stone unclogs the pores
An environmentally-friendly biodegradable exfoliator. As it’s a by-product (nobody eats olive stones!) it is also a sustainable choice. This provides the grit you feel in your bar while using it.
Squalane hydrates and moisturises *Active Ingredient*
An emollient that mimics the skin to stop moisture loss and restore suppleness. Squalane is a vegan ingredient sourced from plants. It’s an excellent antioxidant and it won’t make your skin feel too greasy.
